Tapestry cushions can add a very classic look to your room and provide splashes of color and warmth. They can be small toss cushions on a chair or couch. They may also be the covering over the cushion of a footstool or small chair. They may be many different sizes but there is a common size of nineteen by nineteen inches. A small size of tapestry like tapestry cushions are referred to as panels. The tapestry part may be used as small wall hanging and some even come already made with a sleeve for the hanging rod. They can be very attractive when hung in groupings on a wall.

Collecting tapestry can be an ongoing pleasure for people through out their lives as they furnish their homes and add to it all with them. This adds a very nice finished look to the cushions and provides a bit of protection to the edges of the tapestry. The piping and backing may be change several times in the life of a fine tapestry.
